Get Free GuidanceUntil today, FranchiseNegosyo could help you compare franchises, investment ranges, and business formats. It could help you narrow your options to a city and a budget.
It could not help you answer the question that often matters most.
What is already operating where you want to open?
That is why we built Negosyo Map.
Negosyo Map is a free tool that lets you drop a pin anywhere in the Philippines and instantly see the businesses already operating around it. It does not recommend what should go there. It simply shows you what is there, because every location decision should begin with understanding the place itself.
What happens when you drop a pin
Picture yourself standing outside an available commercial space.
Before signing a lease, you drop a pin.
Within seconds the map draws a circle around that location, counts every business we know of inside it, groups them by category, and lets you explore the businesses behind every number.
You can search by barangay, city, municipality, or landmark, or drag the pin anywhere you like. Every time the pin moves, every count updates with it.
The map offers three practical views of the area around your location: 400 metres for what people can comfortably walk to, 1.2 kilometres for the surrounding neighbourhood, and 3 kilometres for a short drive.
Every category opens into the individual businesses behind it, showing their names and how far each one is from your chosen location. A number you cannot inspect is only a number asking to be believed. If we tell you there are twelve restaurants nearby, you should be able to see all twelve.
Today the map contains 884,138 businesses and 139,246 landmarks, including schools, hospitals, markets, transport terminals, and places of worship, across 1,591 cities and municipalities. Most people begin by exploring an area rather than searching for a particular franchise, and the map is designed to work that way. If you already have a business category or franchise in mind, you can filter the results without hiding everything else around it.
Negosyo Map offers information, not choices
The obvious feature to build is a recommendation telling you what franchise to open at a particular location.
Negosyo Map will never do that.
No responsible person can determine the success of a franchise from a set of coordinates. A recommendation built only from business counts would be a guess presented as analysis, and that is more dangerous than admitting uncertainty.
Instead, Negosyo Map gives you information you can verify. Every business count can be opened into the individual businesses behind it. Every distance can be checked. Every category can be explored. Every comparison is measured against a clearly stated baseline.
The map helps you understand a location. It does not make the decision for you.
If you would rather have advice than data, requesting guidance is free and connects you with someone who can help interpret what the map cannot.

An empty category is not an opportunity
If the map shows no laundries inside your search area, it simply says there are no laundries inside your search area.
That does not automatically mean you have discovered an opportunity.
It could mean nobody has opened one there yet.
It could also mean there is no demand for one.
The data cannot tell you which explanation is true, so neither will we.
Leaving out that second possibility would make the map sound more optimistic, but it would also make it less honest. Good business decisions deserve honesty more than optimism.
Where the data comes from, and where it stops
The business locations come from Overture Maps using its July 22, 2026 release. It is a substantial open dataset, but it is not a census.
If a business is missing from the source, it is missing from your map. Coverage is also uneven. One franchise chain may be nearly complete while another has only partial coverage, making some categories appear thinner than they really are.
Because of that, Negosyo Map stays quiet where the data is not strong enough to support a conclusion.
Lists of businesses that are absent from an area only appear where we believe the local coverage is sufficient to make that statement responsibly. Otherwise, the map shows nothing rather than confidence it has not earned.
This is only the beginning
Negosyo Map was built to answer a simple question that every franchise seeker eventually asks.
What is already operating where I want to open?
That answer has never been easy to find. We hope it is now.
This is the first version, not the final one. The map will continue to grow with broader coverage, more data, new ways to explore locations, and better tools for comparing opportunities across the country.
Some decisions will always require local knowledge, experience, and good judgement. No map can replace those things. What it can do is give you a clearer picture before you invest your time, your money, and your future.
Whether you are exploring your first franchise or planning your next location, we hope Negosyo Map helps you ask better questions, uncover better opportunities, and make more confident decisions.
Welcome to a new way of exploring franchise locations.
